Evgeniy Bedarev, director

First and foremost, our movie is a romantic comedy. A good, kind comedy for the whole family. We made do without toilet humour, which in recent time has often been used in successful projects. I made a film that I can go see with my parents, that I can invite friends with kids to. But in New Year’s Rate you will also see chases, rescues and adventures, it’s packed full of action and fantasy, just like in a real fairytale. This is the kind of movie in which everyone can find something for themselves — it is romantic, adventurous and magical at the same time. I would like the film to rekindle our faith in the best and the belief that something wonderful will happen on New Year’s Eve.

Valeria Lanskaya, actress

During the holidays you always want to see light, joyful and sparkling movie. I think New Year’s Rate turned out just that way. The plot is very saturated due to action, stunts, fantasy, many a fine acting job, especially in episodic roles performed by well-known actors.

Maksim Matveev, actor

This is a fantasy story, however it could happen to anyone of us. The film is a romantic comedy: we, the main characters, had lyrical role, while all the other characters ended up in comical situations.
